When it's time to party he will party hard

Yup, the rumours are true - DJ Zomboy is unfortunately leaving Bad Reputation. The next Bad Rep will be his last so we need you all to come party extra hard with us. Lets give him a dance party to remember!

Zomboy co-founded Bad Rep with us and has played some super ace hits with us in the last year. He's also our best friend and probably the most wonderful person we have ever met. And while he might not be behind the decks anymore, he will be on the dance floor in the next couple of months wowing us with his moves.

Bad Rep will not be the same without him. I mean this so much. Doing a club night with Zomby has always been my dream. He started up my most favourite diy queer riot grrrl club night of all time - Get In - in Manchester back in 2000. I think it's fair to say that Bad Rep rips off Get In quite a lot, but then again I think most diy queer club nights do to be honest, whether they know it or not! He also dj'd at the other legendary Manchester based queer/grrrl club night -X Offender- and was also resident dj at Killing Fantasy. When he moved down south he then began djing at our very favourite Unskinny Bop in London too. And to top it all off he's also the ex-bass player from Manchester riot grrrl legends Valerie.

He wears a cape! He has a beard! He's a dancing machine! He's a superhero!

So here's a top 5 Zomboy themed playlist in tribute to our awesome dj.

1. The Frumpies - I just wanna puke on the stereo

Fun fact: Zomboy has a Frumpies tattoo cuz he is just that awesome!

2. Ke$ha - Tik Tok
The best thing about Zomboy being super drunx is when he tells you how Ke$ha is a radical working class feminist and means it.

3. Atari Teenage Riot - Too Dead For Me

My favourite time at Bad Rep is when Zomboy first played this and the dancefloor went MENTAL.

4. Bikini Kill - Resist Psychic Death

Zomboy has made it his life motto to resist psychic death at all times.

5. The Killers - Mr Brightside

Zomboy once created Bad Rep history, now known as Killersgate, while attempting to play Le Tigre, he accidentally played The Killers instead. He hung his head in shame as the diy queers booed him but secretly he just really wanted to dance to The Killers. He loves them.
